The photo below is part of the Perkey Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum. The photo was taken on July 29, 1913 of a Camp Meeting at Gray’s Shed. A camp meeting or revival was held annually for many years at what was then known as Gray’s Spring near Hickory Valley. The spring was later known as Stagg’s Spring. Holiness or Nazarene pastors held revivals at this location. The photo was one from a collection of Herman and Genova Searcy Staggs.
