A two-story feed store located beside the railroad tracks and the Poke Bayou at Central Ave. Date: Ca 1940s. Cars of the 1930s and 1940s can be seen. Across Central Ave. can be seen Batesville Hatchery.  Also a sign “Corno Feeds”.

A two story stone building located on Central Ave. beside the railroad tracks. It was labeled Batesville Hatchery. On its side are advertisements: Corno Feeds, and Coca Cola. Next to the building, back up Central is a sign “Club Room.”

The Batesville Hatchery photo just came in to us from Kenny Gerhardt who saved it from the remains of Mary Gail Harley’s estate.
