Frank Handford in oval portrait as a young man. He was born in Batesville, AR to Charles R. and Sarah Ellen Handford in the Handford-Terry house on April 7, 1892. He married Fay Pease in New Mexico on June 16, 1912 after a childhood courtship. When Fay would get angry with him as a child, she would leave a child’s gold wedding band he had given her on the fence post up the street. They were the parents of two children (Frances and Frank Jr.). He died in Little Rock on January 12, 1923 of pneumonia. (Boone, David collection)
