Dear Museum Friends,
The Old Independence Regional Museum will be closed the week of Thanksgiving (Tuesday, November 26th thru Saturday, November 30th). The museum will reopen under its normal operating hours on Tuesday, December 3rd.
We recognize you may have out of town Thanksgiving holiday guests planning a museum visit. No problem! We love each and every opportunity to host visitors and are honored to welcome and accommodate your family and friends.
By advance appointment, the museum will open its doors on Friday, November 29th. One of our museum volunteers will meet you and your friends at the scheduled time to conduct a personal tour. To schedule your request, please contact us at april@oirm.org or phone 870.793.2121. We ask you email us or phone us no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 20th to schedule your Thanksgiving visit.
