This Carolina Lily quilt was pieced and appliqued around 1860-1880. It was quilted by either Pernicia Dodds Cook or her daughter-in-law Ophelia Lamb Cook. The quilt was owned by the Morrow family and was found in John Morrow’s house. It has some iron acidic stains. This object is part of the Cook/Morrow Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum.
