Visitors to the museum will find a well-stocked gift shop. We carry a good selection of historical books written by authors of local interest on such topics as the Civil War, regional history, and Ozark culture. Our stock includes copies of the Independence County Chronicle, as well as histories of many communities and churches in our area.

Children especially enjoy the fossils and minerals as well as Civil War reproductions and small toys. They are affordably priced for small pockets. Proceeds from the gift shop help to support the museum. The gift shop accepts credit card orders and ships long
