Bunny hugs anyone? Rabbits and chickens were among the animals who visited the museum lawns as part of Farm Family Day which offered a fun look at life on a farm. October 2007

These adorable goats were a favorite with the children attending Farm Family Day. Other activities included milking the mechanical cow, making corn husk dolls, churning butter, and pumpkin painting. October 2007

Volunteer Ann Rhodes helps children decorate cookies at the Old Fashioned Family Christmas Party. Party guests also made decorations for the tree, visited with Santa, saw a dramatic reading of the Little House on the Prairie Christmas stories, and pulled taffy. December 2007
